Equipped with all the necessary glacier gear, you’ll set out across the ancient ice with an experienced glacier guide, learning about the fascinating history, geology and constant movement of Vatnajökull along the way.

As no two days on the glacier are ever the same, each tour follows the safest and most rewarding route based on current glacier conditions. Depending on the season and weather, you’ll have the opportunity to visit one or more stunning crystal-blue ice features, including naturally formed ice tunnels and deep blue crevasses that showcase the glacier’s remarkable beauty.

Furthermore, we don’t repay the fee if the client is late, or doesn’t show up even if the weather is very bad, in case we can offer the trip. So we recommend staying in a hotel or guesthouse east of Skaftafell in Vatnajokull National Park, and west of the town of Höfn.
